Task 1. 카페 아르바이트 면접
As a café manager, you are interviewing two potential employees. Watch the job interview video (00:00–2:35 only), and decide which candidate you will hire.

A 2024 survey by the part-time job platform Albamon found that Korean college students primarily work part-time to earn spending money (78%), which is followed by gaining social experience (26.3%) and saving for travel or purchases (12.5%). Preferred job types include positions at restaurants (25.9%), fast food outlets or cafes (25.3%), tutoring (18.1%), convenience stores (15.5%), and warehouses (10.1%). Students earn an average of 1.38 million won per month. Location and schedule flexibility are prioritized over salary (Source). A 2024 survey by Alba Heaven also found that students desire to earn an average of 11,140 won per hour, which is above the 9,860 won minimum wage (Source).

Meet with your partner(s) and video-record your best performance. Conduct job interviews for the following situations.
1. Guided Conversation Practice
You are interviewing for a part-time job at a convenience store. Perform the interview by filling in the blanks with appropriate responses.

2. Create Your Own Dialogue with a Classmate
Choose a part-time job you would like to apply if you were in Korea (e.g., movie theaters, restaurants, cafes, retail stores, libraries), and conduct the job interview with your partner. Make sure to switch roles and record two interviews. Adhere the following guidelines:
- Each person should speak at least four meaningful sentences.
- Use the following grammar forms at least once: V–(으)ㄴ적이 있다/없다, V–(으)ㄹ 줄 알다/모르다, and A/V–(으)시.
- Use both formal and informal polite speech styles.
