Task 1. 동아리 신입생 모집 광고
Imagine you are an incoming exchange student at Yonsei University. Read an Instagram post about new member recruitment by the university’s classic guitar club (*Use the attached file if the link does not work), and decide if you would like to join the club based on the information you gather.

University Festivals and Event Each year, during the spring and fall semesters, Korean universities come alive with festivals that last for 2-3 days. These events feature a variety of activities such as food stalls, game booths, and performances. Universities often invest in celebrity performances for the festival nights, while student clubs spend days preparing to audition for stage performances or setting up club booths. Notably, Korea University and Yonsei University, the country’s top two private schools, host an annual fall sports competition and festival known as “Ko-Yon Jeon” according to Korea University, or “Yon-Ko Jeon” according to Yonsei.
Task 2. 동아리 추천하기
Meet with your partner(s) and video-record your best performance. You are a member of the above classic guitar club, and your friend is interested in joining the club. Based on the information you gather from Task 1, ask and answer questions about the club. Adhere to the following guidelines:
- Each person should have at least four meaningful sentences.
- Use the following grammar forms at least once: V–기로 하다, A/V–기 때문에, V–는 게 어때요?, and N을/를 위해(서)/V–기 위해(서).
- Use the familiar speech style.

As an exchange student in Korea, create a 60-second video to recruit new members for your student club in Korean. The club can be real or imaginary. Adhere to the following guidelines:Include at least 7 meaningful sentences.
- Use the following grammar forms at least once: V–기로 하다, A/V–기 때문에, V–는 게 어때요?, and N을/를 위해(서)/V–기 위해(서).
- Use both formal and informal polite speech styles.
