Lesson 3 Communicative Tasks
By the end of this lesson, you’ll be able to:
- Interpretive Communication: Comprehend a short description of the room, especially the locations of items in the room
- Interpersonal Communication: Ask and answer questions about the location of an item.
- Presentational Communication: Describe your room with location words.
- Intercultural Communication: Talk about similarities and differences between houses in Korea and my country; and behave properly when visiting a Korean home (e.g. taking off shoes)
Task 1. 원룸 찾기
You are looking for a furnished studio in the city that you will move into next summer. As you cannot fly out there, your friend living there took a look at the studio that you are interested in for you. Read her text message and answer the following questions.

Task 3. Role Play
Meet with your partner(s) on Zoom, and do the attached asynchronous task together. Take turns, playing the roles A and B. Video-record your best performances and upload the video with the picture here.
(A) You are moving to a new place. Decide where to put the following items in the room and draw a picture of your room: 책상, 의자, 책장, 옷장, 침대, 가족 사진, and _____________(provide your own).
